how you can support us

Hey, thanks for clicking to learn more about how you can support us! 👋

giphy.gif

We started this blog because we wanted to help new cooks get their start in the kitchen. Cooking can be intimating — we know it’s easier to make grilled cheese every day for lunch or order takeout every night for supper. Grilled cheese and takeout are great, but not when you eat it every. single. day.

Running a blog isn’t free! We pay for the website domain and Squarespace platform yearly (in USD, which hurts our Canadian hearts a bit when we see the conversion rate 💔). We also buy ingredients for posts and any new equipment we may need.

We gladly pay these costs, but appreciate your support so we can at least break even and continue to write new content for you!

Here are a few ways that you can support us:

engage with us on social media

Easy, simple, and free! Share our content with your friends and family on social media — it’ll help the blog grow. We run ads on our site to make a few bucks a month, and the more people that see our content, the more likely someone is to engage with the ads on our site.

Follow us on: Facebook | Instagram | Twitter | Pinterest

buy from our affiliate links

Throughout our blog we’ve added affiliate links to products on Amazon. If you buy using one of our links we get a small commission! 💸

You can also use these links to shop Kitchen & Dining Best Sellers and Grocery & Gourmet Food on Amazon if you want.

And if you’re in Canada, try voilà today! Voila.ca offers guaranteed-fresh grocery delivery.

click on ads…

Only if you want to, of course. If you see an ad that interests you and you click it, we make a very tiny amount of money.

gift us an item from our wishlist

With Throne, can send us gifts directly in the mail while keeping both of our info private. 🎁

buy our merch (coming soon?)

We don’t have merch right now, but are looking into it! Let us know what you’d like to see.
