what is mediocre chef?
Mediocre Chef was created with one idea in mind: to document our culinary experience in order to teach you how to become a better cook. In less pretentious terms, we're here to teach you how to not be terrible at cooking.
We are not professional chefs — we’re just two friends who enjoy cooking at home and eating good food. Food isn’t just sustenance, it’s something to be enjoyed! We grew up in a small town that had limited food options. After moving to the “big city” we realized that there was so much more food to discover and explore. Together, we cook recipes we’ve never tried before, learn new cooking skills, explore the science of food, and much more.
If you want to step up your cooking game, you’re in the right place! Learn from our experience in the kitchen and level up to become a Mediocre Chef.
Every new home cook has to start somewhere.
